Is Payoneer Advantageous for NON-US Citizens for Receiving Affiliate Commisions
-
As a non-us citizen the only way provided to receive commission cash from Amazon, Clickbank and alike are checks. Some other companies allow PayPal, but PayPal has proven to be pain in the ass, due to their arbitrary account locks, not being available for some countries, and the annoying verifying process for people living in uncovered countries. It'll be a great relief if they get bankrupt :) (Check further on PayPalSucks.com for epic PayPal fails) I wondered if there was any alternative way to receive these commissions via ACH direct deposit. And did some research on Google. I first started to search whether it was possible to get an US bank account and debit/credit card as a non-us citizen. I learned that it was very restricted and costly for newbie Internet Marketers like some of us; which are even not able to make money yet. And I read some stuff that it became even more strict after the "Patriot Act". So that was a no go option for me. While desperately searching for a free or not expensive solution. I ended up with Payoneer as the only reasonable solution. I also checked if there were alternatives to Payoneer but could not found any. Some Payoneer services may not be available in some countries but they try to cover the whole world. And it's very likely that you can get a Payoneer account. They provide you a prepaid debit card(Mastercard) which can be loaded via other credit/debit cards (up to $1000 max - This limit is only for loading it via a credit or debit card), anyone with a credit/debit card can load money to your Payoneer prepaid debit card, you can receive ACH direct deposit payments instead of checks from lots of US affiliate companies (They actively co-operate and make deals with these companies, one of their main goals is to help affiliate marketers globally) including Amazon, Clickbank and many other well known companies. You can verify PayPayl and withdraw your funds to your debit card and spend them in your own country or withdraw money via an ATM which supports MasterCard. They also have cheaper international wiring and local wiring services and cover like 40 currencies. There is even an affiliate program, when you chose to register via a referral link, you both get $25 when the refereed person receives their first $100 payment. I read some reviews and feedback of Payoneer users and they seem very happy with them. If you can establish some good business using their debit card, they also allow you to get a US bank account but the annual fee is like $99 and you won't need it to receive your commissions. Here are the fees for the Prepaid Payoneer Debit Card and transactions (Imho, Pretty Acceptable): Note: When there's $00.00 balance in your account and it's passive for 60 days the card deactivates and you don't pay the maintenance cost until you revive it. Card Annual card account maintenance $29.95 Per Card From available card balance each year Card replacement $12.95 Per card One time - when issuing a replacement card ATM Cash Withdrawals or Transactions ATM withdrawal $03.15 Per Trx When withdrawal is requested Declined ATM withdrawal $01.00 Per Trx When withdrawal request is declined Purchase Transaction Free * Per Trx When card is used for purchases ATM Balance inquiry $01.00 Per Trx When inquiry is made * When a transaction is made as a foreign transaction or is requested in a currency other than USD, charges of up to 3% may be assessed above all charges assessed by MasterCard for the transaction. Their website is http://Payoneer.com as you can guess. And when u register find a registered person to get the extra $25 when you receive your first $100 payment. Some guy on Squidoo wrote a good article about Payoneer and provides his own affiliate link as well, the link for this article is: (I'm not related to this guy but I liked his detailed review about his experience with Payoneer and some of us might be in an urge to register with the $25 bucks advantage.) http://www.squidoo.com/payoneer-review-m...legitimate I guess this is my first contribution to the community :) I hope some ppl will benefit from this tiny research. Thank you for reading, Peace... NEW UPDATE(January 14th, 2013): - I found a link on their forum at the official announcement section, which waives the Annual card account maintenance fee ($29.95) for the first year only. So it's sort of free to apply for your first year. http://www.payoneer-affiliates.com/?utm_...oneerForum - If you refer a company that pays you affiliate commissions and has not yet partnered with them you can make $100. The company will be able to provide Payoneer Pre-Paid cards to their affiliates and pay them via these cards. The condition to be eligible to receive the $100 the referred company should pass $2500 in commission payments via Payoneer to their affiliates and at least deliver 3 Payoneer pre-paid debit cards to their affiliates. - Both "refer a friend" (to get $25 each, you and the referred friend/person) and "refer a partner" (to get $100) payments might take up to a month to get to your debit card after the conditions are reached. |
