@mnb235: First let me say, I actually did the work to help with your request but decided that what you need is Real-Debrid. Who is going to spend their time uploading 3.26 GB to Mediafire or Mega for you when those files could come down in an instant? Then will come the posts to "please re-up" and "file not work."

I put the RG link you provided (removing the space between rapid and gator first) into Real-Debrid. It shows the file is 2.62 GB.

I put an existing Mega link I found on a WSO site I have a lifetime membership to into JDownloader2. It shows the file is 3.25 GB.

So the Mega link had a few extra files.

But you could easily have this on your HD by now if you had a very affordable subscription to Real-Debrid or a low-cost lifetime membership on a course share site that features Mega (or their own proprietary) links.

There is no reason to saddle someone you don't even know with a task like this when, for a few dollars, you can have the tools you need to get courses like this one and many more...whenever you want them.

I've shared a lot of stuff on this forum and it's becoming overrun with people wanting others to do the heavy-lifting for them.

So I decided NOT to share that Mega link.

This should be a DIY job.

Bravo Layna!
The forum is indeed "becoming overrun with people wanting others to do the heavy-lifting for them".
If you look at the [REQ] section of the forum it is overrun with people having few (if any) Reps. Some people love to use the terms 'fam' and 'team' as if they are family or team members. Where I come from, family or team members contribute to the team or family.
I sent a suggestion to Omni Potens that he restrict posting in the [Req] section to members with at least 50 reps. That way, you contribute first. Sadly I got no response. I still think it's a good idea.
My forum signature reflects how I feel. If you don't want to contribute in some way - you are a leecher.
Once again, a big Thanks for all you do here. Repped as always!
Cheers,
NoJob
This is a message to all those who don't understand, "Sharing is Caring". If you aren't working to make this a better place (ie having a REP of at least 100) don't ask me for help. Everyone has something on their hard drive they can share. Everyone has the time to offer a review or create a mirror! Thanks

RE: Ian Stanley - Beat The Control Workshop 2024
@NoJob: Thank you kindly, my friend, for posting in support of my view. It says a lot that you didn't get a response from the administrator to your very reasonable recommendation. The only people who see leeching as a problem here are the ones who make valuable, ongoing contributions that keep this community relevant.

Recently, there was a discussion on another thread about the leeching problem; its poster simply asked what can be done to get community to better engage. I posted to it, as did others. The conversation was energetic and progressive, I thought but it didn't take long before "someone's panties got knotted in a bunch" and the whole thread got shut down.

Lesson learned: Actions speak louder than words.

We can sweep our problems under a rug and pretend they don't exist but somewhere down the line, there's always a price to pay for that. By then, it's too late.

The other day, I read a post by someone who wrote about "low-lifes who call others on BBHF leeches." Again, actions say a lot more than ones words. There is no lower life than someone who feeds off of the generosity (sharing) of others but feel no sense of duty to pull their own weight in the community.

If you're unfamiliar with the term, here's exactly what a leecher is in an internet community...

I visit REQ threads often because I enjoy helping when I can. But I'm not one to just give you links because you want them. I try to show what you need to do to keep from burdening others with requests like these.

I'm happy whenever I read a PM saying "Thanks for telling me about Real-Debrid" or "I followed your advice on a How to Find Stuff share and it worked! Thanks!"

It's like the old adage: GIVE a man a fish and you feed him for a day; TEACH a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. Only, if that man is trifling-AF and doesn't go fishing after you teach him, is it your problem if he starves?

Sadly, the advice I give largely goes in one ear and out the other for leecher types because they don't mind waiting around for others to do for them what they should do for themselves. There's no helping them.

Look - Real-Debrid is very affordable and very effective. With it, you can quickly convert the most popular premium links and get these large files downloaded without asking someone halfway around the globe who you've never met (or done anything for) to do it for you. Plain and simple.

You wouldn't think you need to tell people this. Mad Slap

I actually came "this close" to sharing a Mega link for Beat the Control 2024 but thought better of it. Let someone else come along and share it.

I've shared a lot in my time here and my posts get "Viewed" (i.e., probably downloaded) by the thousands but very few come back to say thanks on the thread or add reps for what they grabbed.

I'm done enabling this kind of behavior.

Thanks
