How to hide the link in widget?

Hi, I'll submit my website to several Directory websites in order to do SEO.

And Japan's Directory websites should insert one's own links(for example, <a href="www.example">Free Directory submit</a>) into the Widget or Footer.

If I won't add it, I can't be registered on the Directory.

Inserting my websites' Footer or Widget when people visit my websites, can I hide the links?

I used "DIsplay:none" but it didn't recognize and register in the Directory site. What's should I do? Please help me.

cloak the site for the directory based on referer i.e. collect the domains of the directories and show them a page with the link in the footer. then you can also hide the link from the visitors and more importantly SE bots like google.
