How do i get people to join my social media site
Hey, hi there, i was wonder if anyone could help me get people to join my social media site, i have just launched it 2-3 days ago and i have tried to get people to join but i havent been able too, also i am hoping not to spend to much money on advertising it before i start seeing results as i have spent a lot on the design and protection for the site. The social network focuses on anything, please help and give me tips/ideas as i would really like to have a good social network and one day make it as good as facebook or twitter.
sadly cannot add the site to check as it is looked up as 'self promotion' |

There're many ways to promote your Facebook fanpage without paying anything, below some of them
- Invite your friends to like the Fanpage - Share your content into relevant and related groups - Share your content on relevant and related Fanpages - Add a widget about your Fanpage on your website - Run a mini game with attractive prizes that let people like and share your post - Run a give away contest to get more fans - Ask for help on other fanpage admins to share the content for you. Start with your contact, invite them to like your page,after that you can target to their contact and do this process further.

-Generate email lists to connect to your connections -Join related social sites, and post on forums (genuinely) to get known in your niche markets -Generate excitement about your social network by running contests and sweepstakes with cool prizes. ( like with Wishpond marketing apps ) -Promote your site and contest on relevant, market related sites -Run ads on Facebook, Google and Twitter -Get people of influence in your market to write about you (like do you have a product? - get it reviewed - you'll likely have to be very persistent in getting a review, or anyone to write about you initially) -Write a blog on your site (with good blog posts), and syndicate it to other blog sites -Write guest blog posts on established sites in your industry |
