How Do I Browse the Web at Work?
I'm curious if any of you brilliant hackers or all around intelligent types could help me out. I want to know how I can browse the web from work and I'll explain.
I'm obviously on a network and there is a Baracuda firewall in place. So periodically it will have me authenticate before allowing access to a site. There are certain sites that I can't access at all that are blocked. Is there a way around this? For instance with this site. Is it possible for me to access the site without a system administrator seeing exactly where I'm going and what I'm doing. I see all this proxy info, but I have no clue how to use any of it. I know there is a site called hidemyass.com and I'm able to access the site, but I don't know that it's going to do what I want either. Would the TOR network work? I just have no clue how to truly get around the firewall and hide my activity. BTW I'm on a Mac if that is necessary information. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

RE:
Ok, very cool. Thank you so much. Yes, it did work and it was easy to follow. Not a technical kind of guy and I've always been curious.
