Help writing copy *blackhat* to help encourage clicks
Hey there,
I'd like to brainstorm. I am able to get traffic from a particular source (be it bing, facebook, twitter, (pick a big site)) in a pop up. I can put anything on that page. I want to encourage clicks on a CPC network (not the big guy, I would get banned in a heartbeat). The Ad can be a small size text or media as the popup is not huge. No Giant banners etc. usually a rectangle is good. I'm happy to pose as an employee of said site... this is a black hat method after all. So what to write to encourage a good CTR? A few Idea's I've had (using twitter as an example) * Twitter is changing our advertising policy click below to confirm. If you don't your account will be terminated (fear motivation?) * FCC regulations dictate twitter has to give an opinion on this advert. Click it and tell us to keep showing you stuff like this or not. * click the advert to Win... (win what?) Or you have already won? What other suggestions are there? What did you first think of? Has anybody done this before and had success with a particular angle? |
