[HELP] SEO DOMAIN NAMES
Hello,

I posted this question last week with no success of getting a answer. I am sure there is brilliant, and talented folks on this forum who can answer this question, so I assume the section i posted was wrong and this is the best section to get a answer.

Hope you can help.

1. Domain Extension .XYZ
I purchased a domain name ending in xyz (niche.xyz) If this a disadvantage to me in regards to SEO ? Will i show up on google searches, with my site properly optimized onsite and offsite.

2. Sub Domains.
Will a sub domain rank well if properly optimized as well?
For example niche.website.xyz

Thank you in advance for your help.

All the best,
Bukuu

It will be treated no more or less favourably than any other generic top level extension, domain name.

Thank You JasonD,

Thats good to know!

In regards to the subdomain, I heard if the keyword is in the front it helps with seo. So if i have the subdomain as the keyword along with the content, will that help?

RE: [HELP] SEO DOMAIN NAMES
I'd rather get an .io domain than an .xyz. It seems the .io will be the next .com in the coming years.

RE: [HELP] SEO DOMAIN NAMES
Whereever I always go for the .com, as I personally think they are more credible.
I am in the UK, so the same applies for .co.uk too, they don't look as spammy / fake as a .xyz or rubbish looking tlds.
SEO Agency spending over $1k a month? Let's talk.
