[ HELP] Need some AWESOME idea on how to get my FIRST customer on Fiverr
Hi,

This week i have just started my journey as
an internet marketer, really excited by the way.

My first target is to obtain enough money
to enter super vip lifetime section. So in order to do that, i went to fiverr
and offer a gig in ebook cover design.

That was 3 days ago, still not a single
soul read my gig.

I’ve heard that when you make a video you
will get rank much more easier. So, i hired one guy to make an intro video for
my gig, will be done in two days.

What more can i do to promote my gig? I’m
not going to sit around hoping someone will find me, what if they don’t?

Right this moment i’m designing an ad
banner to promote my gig using Project Wonderful, what do you all think?

They say you have to spread your gigs
across multiple categories to increase exposure, so I think i’m gonna sell some
plr, or maybe sell a gig about keyword research that use Market Samurai.

I also read somewhere, that finding the
first customer is the hardest! I agree, because with no customer your rating
wil be N/A, who will do business with unproven sellers when we have top rated
sellers selling the same thing that we offer.

So, in order to offer more value, i decided
to sell Two 3d ebook covers for 5 Dollars! But still....NO CUSTOMER.. Urghhhh...

I’m thinking of opening another account to
buy my own service, but i don’t want to risk anything.

Can somebody help me, by contributing some
ideas on how to promote my gig more aggressively? I need to find at least usd
2000 before 15th of March, of course Fiverr alone will not bring me
all that amount but fiverr will be vital in funding my other campaign.

Any help or suggestion will be deeply
appreciated!

RE:
Hey Dash!

Congrats on starting your IM bisuness! Hang in there bud and it will pay off! Promise!

Ok you are looking to market your ebook cover designing gig, right?

Think about who would need an ebook cover designed? Where would these people kick it (hangout online)?

Since you haven't received any customers yet - I would:

1. Create some mock ebook covers and load them for display
on my website or a website specifically for the ebook covers.

2. Sign up for the top Online marketing forums.

3. Promote the website where I loaded the mock ebook covers, in the signature area.
When doing this you will have to be somewhat active in the community. By giving valuable
advice it will help you build trust with others in the community.

Now, you are headed in the right direction by having a promo video made!
Where are you marketing your video?
Upload it to Vimeo, meta cafe, and of course youtube
Upload it to your Facebook?
Search the Facebook Fanpages that are in your niche and load the video to those pages?

I do not want to go into too many tactics because you are just starting out and information
overload is a mutha - well you know the rest lol

Any questions let me know!

RE:
Thanks Belly!

I just got my first order just now! really excited! I don't know how he found me coz my gig is only viewed just 3 times in the last 4 days. But i got the order after i uploaded my video, so i guess it has something to do with that..

I just copied your post into notepad, What a wonderful idea! Thanks!

When you say upload it on my website, What is this is all about? Just a display of my samples and a link to my gig? Can i use a blogspot instead or is it too unprofessional, too cheap? What do you suggest i put on this website, content wise? Tips?

I just finished making my banners to promote my gig that will be put on project wonderful and some classified ads. But right now, i must focus on delivering an AWESOME service to make my very first customer, very happy!

PS: information overload? no no, overload me, please! Any idea will appreciated! I love ideas!
