[HELP] Building Website Designing Business Locally
Hi Everyone,
Recently, I started with website designing business at the local town where I live. Firstly, I am not a developer or good at any coding language. I started with Wordpress and acquired 5 clients at the moment. Outsourcing graphic work and a few other things. If anyone already running this business, please help me with below questions! QUESTIONS:
Please help me out to carry on with this step and bring more clients for my business. Thanks |

RE: [HELP] Building Website Designing Business Locally
Hope this helps
1. The following services are charged monthly; they include: Hosting, Local SEO, Social Media Marketing, Listing Mgmt, PPC Mgmt, Email Marketing, Voice Broadcast. 2. I am not a developer; I use elementor, its simple and free 3. I have been with Hostgator for many many years. No problem and been helpful when I screwed up stuff in cpanel 4. Pricing plans.. well depend on where you live and who you market too. I wouldn't charge a plumber the same as I do to a lawyer Feel feel to ask anything else Ed |

When you use Elementor does it give you final theme file for a client which can be accessed with Elementor installed? Why I ask this as I used Thrive Architect and When I hand over the website to client, I forgot to disable access to Thrive Architect, and He did changes himself which made some mess but he knows how it's drag and drop so he doesn't want to pay extra money for Support Service where I was charging some extra for making changes to website. What's your view about DIVI? I heard a lot about them. As I said I am starting with a new company so just wanted to do it right. Thanks |

RE: [HELP] Building Website Designing Business Locally
For Which services you charge annually or monthly? and How much
Design is one time cost. Hosting I generally charge yearly. SEO monthly, almost everything else is monthly. Which theme builder you would recommend for WordPress? Divi Which Hosting Provider you will recommend? NameHero Can you share your Pricing plans to help me out? Varies widely. I do have a starting price point for website design and SEO and it goes up from there depending on scope of work. I would charge a plumber the same as a lawyer for site design and for SEO but it really depends on their needs. I've worked with tons of broke lawyers by the way, they aren't all rich. I've also worked with rich plumbers. You probably can't make the same money from the local Avon lady than with a plumber/lawyer though. You have to pick and choose the clients that you want, some clients aren't worth the time. As far as pricing, depends on where you live. US can vary widely. I've seen people charging $300 - 4,000 for basically the same site design and features. If you're US based your numbers should probably be somewhere in there. |

Elementor has a template feature, and we transfer our custom template to the client site and make edits to the content/images. I do not give backend access. Part of the reason is we are their marketing arm, and it is entirely hands off for them, its turn key to work with me. Suppose they want to add content to the site, we will do it for free if nothing extreme. It only takes 5-10 minutes to add a page of content(assuming they provide the content/images to add)I do not have experience with Divi when I started, I was looking for something simple and can easily outsource when time to on-board, Elementor happen to be on my radar and is working fine so far. |

@verminator
I agree with you; I was generalizing on that post. Its true you will find broke lawyers, and it's up to you if want to work with them or not and adjust your price matrix. |

RE: [HELP] Building Website Designing Business Locally
I am wondering how you handle client content and conversations.
Do you use any client management service or anything else? |
