[HELP] Amazon Associates Account: Escalated
I was wondering about (and fired off an email to Amazon) about inserting their affiliate links into e-books.
They've "escalated" my question so I won't have an answer for up to 48 hours. My question is: can a person have an Amazon associate's account and get access to affiliate links WITHOUT submitting a website? Doesn't seem like a tough question, so why this needed to be Amazon-ly escalated is anyone's guess... Thanks |

RE: [HELP] Amazon Associates Account: Escalated
IO'm assuming you mean for testing purposes? If not, then no - you HAVE to have a website or mobile app that is ALREADY COMPLETELY built to get approval. Approval happens after 3 months or youre first clickthrough sale (you will NOT get commission for this first product, accepted or not).
BUT, you have three months where you can access the Amazon API and affiliate material. I did this to get my amazon affiliate site off the ground. Using amazon plugins/themes meant to automate posting products WITHOUT the API wouldve been a much bigger pain in the ass without that 3 month grace period. |

Yes, precisely, for testing purposes. Just an idea I had kicking around and wondered how liberal they were within their ToS for this kind of selling.
