FAQ:

1. First time you have installed free of cost as part of BSO but suppose in future if suppose service provider ban the server then how can I setup individually? Does the documentation to configure the server is easy that even layman can configure the service on other service provider?

>> Yes, i will install and configure the server for first time. The documentation is self explanatory, you can just follow every step and get it configured. If you have any issues to install and configure, you can contact me. I will help you.

2. To begin with If I have started with the below configuration and later on If I have to add some more 16 IP's to improve performance and capacity of server then does it possible for me to make the relevant changes? Can I do those changes without your help and with the help of documentation that you will provide?

> Adding more IP in PMTA is fairly easy. 3 Steps to follow.
1. You need to create rDNS for new IPs. like (1.1.1.1 mx1.yourdomainname.com).
2. You also need to create a A record for all the rDNS (mx1.yourdomainname.com A 1.1.1.1) in your DNS server.
3. Create a new VMTA like below and add the IP (1.1.1.1) and rDNS like below in the pmta VMTA configuration.

3. Do i need a dedicated server or VPS would do ?

> A lot hosting providers VPS goes though their own spam filtering system.Sometimes even they don't open the SMTP port no by default.You need to ask them to open it. If they detect you are sending massive spam email they can just suspend your server.
Other way, dedicated server doesn't goes through any sort of hosting provider spamming filtering system. So you can send massive email. You have less chance to get suspended from your hosting provider.

4. Should i install PMTA and interspire in the same server ?

> No, i personally thinks thats a very bad idea. You should install PMTA and interspire in separate server. Interspire can be installed in a VPS. If any reason you need to change your PMTA server, you still have your interspire server keep running.

5. How many emails that we will able to send with the server configuration mentioned in point 2 and what results we get if we update RAM from 16 GB to 32 GB RAM.

>>Once your IP and domain name has good reputation, you can send 250-1500 email per hour from per IPs. So if you have 16IPs then you can send 16*250*24(16 ips*250 email per hour* 24hours)= 96000 email per day.
You can change the limit from each IP address. Change the max-msg-rate.

PMTA uses ram to queue up the email. PMTA can handle more email in the queue if server has more ram.

6. How to use SPAM checkers before sending emails?

7. How to Verify bulk email addresses with some cheap and permanent solution and do you suggest any best plan to purchase that software?

>> There are some software can use for validate your email. Though those software are not 100% accurate. You can check here some of them.

The best options is to send email to the list and clean up your list. For this you can configure a small server with PMTA and clean up your list. Once you clean up your list you can shut down this server.

8. What we need to do if email marketing server or domain name gets blacklisted (How can we make it white listed both of them back again? any solution on the same)

>> You can sign up with MXtoolbox.com for blacklist checking. This is very good service for blacklist checking. You will get notified almost instantly if your ip address blacklisted. It will also tell you how delist your IP address.

9. Does it possible to add affiliate link with Image (In sidebar or footer) for some interesting offer from Amazon or any other e-commerce portal, adding image in email will affect on delivery of emails?

>> Sure, you can do that.

> You can send any attachments though your email. But recipient might not open the attachments if you are not trusted sender and some company doesn't allow certain type file specially ZIP.

12. How to avoid spam traps?

> There are plenty of spam traps shared in BBHF, find it and upload it in your interspire.

13. How to avoid avoid spam trigger words and phishing phrases.

> Same as no Q4 answer.

14. How can we will make sure that person who will receive the mail will not mark the mail as SPAM?

>> Don't send email offer that doesn't has any value to the user. If you send few offer to a user and that user doesn't open it then you shouldn't send same kind of to that users. You also might need to add him to the suppression list.
Register with abuse.net so people can get in touch with you about unwanted email. It’s like a big lookup database for abuse contact information tied to IP/domain.
If any recipient unsubcribe from your list, don't send same kind of offer to them. Best dint send email to the recipient again.

15. How to achieve 100% Inbox rate for the mail we are sending to our emails?

>> First start with your infrastructure, your logs, your lists, your content, etc. Generally, most issues are on the sending side, and I'd bet that the issues come from crappy engagement, crappy lists or crappy content.
Deliverability is both an art and a science that ensures an email reaches its intended recipient. It's more complex than it seems, though. Deliverability is a maze that's navigated by learning the expectations of ISPs, monitoring statistics, building a solid infrastructure and of course, a whole lot of trial, error and patience.
Your infrastructure and content have a reputation with each ISP, and as the deliverability genius, it’s your job to maintain that reputation. When deliverability goes wrong, you can find yourself on blacklists.

16. How do you keep track of your IP or domain name "sender score"?

> It's important to have a process in place for warming up IPs. First, check your IP’s reputation with Sender Score and Sender Base (and AOL).
If everything's OK with your IP reputation, you still can’t just send a bunch of email out from a fresh new IP.
You need to warm up the IP and start building a reputation for the IP and domain. Send 100 the first day, 200 the next, and so on. Slowly work up the volume and spread it out over a 24-hour period.
PowerMTA have the warm-up capability built in and will gradually increase volume and handle all this for you. Keep in mind that the ISP is getting to know you and learn your content and traffic patterns, so the warm-up phase is critical.
It’s good to give it a few days and allow the ISP time to learn who you are. Hotmail generally requires slow sending from an IP, and if you don't slowly warm up the IP, you'll have issues that require you to visit their postmaster site to contact support to clear it up.
If your IP reputation isn't so good, then you'll want to warm up much more slowly, and you may have to work with each ISP in repairing the reputation. Any time you contact an ISP, ensure that you've reviewed the ISP's requirements, fully investigated the issue and fixed any issues you're aware of that need to be addressed.

17. How can we will filter list of mails that delivered to the senders apart from the email addresses which failed to deliver the inbox?

>>PowerMTA has logs that show which email has been delivered and which not. From the logs you can filter out.

18. Which Service provider you are using personally for SMTP Server and how is your experience with that service provider for bulk mailing?

>> There are bunch of email hosting provider out there. You can get server from below hosting provider. Choose service provider at your own risk.
