RE:
Fix VMWare NAT Internet Connection Dropping Issue
OK it is very easy to fix this ANNOYING little problem. If your like me your constantly running VM's and running SB XRumer or Senuke. When the internet connection dies on your VM and you still have an IP address you need to restart the VMWare NAT service. If you suffer from this problam you are probably like me and using Wifi a lot. Switching to a wire did not fix it for me. It seems when the problem creeps up thats just it for that virtual machine. It's going to be a headache on that host from then on. First you need to create a BAT (batch) file. Right click -> New -> Text Document Paste this in to text document: net stop "VMware NAT Service" net start "VMware NAT Service" Save-As (all files) NATReset.bat Step 1. Start>all programs>accessories>system tools>scheduled tasks Click Action. Click Create Task. Give it a name and a description. I configure for Windows 7 Run on when logged in should be checked. Click Triggers. Click New. Select Daily. Under Advanced select Repeat Task Every 1 Hour. Click OK. Click Actions Click New. Click Browser and point to the NATReset.bat file we created. Click OK. Click OK. Congratulations. Now your service will restart every hour and you will never again suffer that annoying dread of seeing scrapebox fail on thousands of posts and you have no freaking clue where the internet connection actually dropped. Quick update: Add @ECHO OFF to begining of your bat file. Right click on the bat file you created and click Create Shortcut. Right click-Properties of shortcut you created. Run = Minimized Edit the Action from your scheduled Task and have it point to the newly created shortcut. Also set your trigger to every 10 min. For anyone who complained about the black box constantly popping up, this takes care of that. Also reduce your threads across the board for all your bots/wares. The NAT reset takes a few seconds so if your pushing a lot of data you may want to reset every 6 min or so. please, check if this method works, I'm trying to get this problem fix! |
