Guys update about Finecoin, as you know today is the last round f the ICO and the price is $0.95 per coin.
They lowered the minimum buy from 50 coins to 5 coins today and anyone who will buy today will be able to participate in tomorrows bonus round where they will sell 15k coins at a very cheap price of $0.53 per coin! there will be no minimum tomorrow and a big 4k maximum per 1 member.

Guys sorry if this is dumb but can somebody please explain the process of getting in/buying on the ICO's

Here is my understanding;

I go somewhere like coinbase or uphold (Right now I am locked out of my CB acc and customer service is terrible) and buy Btc or Ethererum.

Then from what I have read I should not buy directly from CB or the exchange, I should transfer the BTC to the ICO platform, is that correct ?

Now once the Btc is in the ICO platform I can get in on the tokens.

Have I got this right, can somebody please confirm, also what about selling ?

Hey Jonnymonic.

Thank you for the kind words!
In order to participate in an ico we usually need btc/eth, so we need to
buy that on an exchange lets say coinbase, then you can transfer it to
your deposit address on the ico platform but its more recommended to
first transfer it to a third party wallet like exsodus so coinbase will not
be able to track that you are sending funds to ico and close your
account if they decide not to allow you to use their platform for buying
and investing in icos.
Then you send the funds to the ico platform from the third party wallet
and wait for the ico round to start and you try buy some tokens.
Some icos will not ask you to deposit money in their platform instead
they will give you an address where you send a fixed amount of btc/eth
lets say you want to buy 100 tokens at $1 per token, they will give you
an address where to send just the $100 and then credit you with tokens.
From then on you need to wait for them to be listed on an exchange
it can be external exchange or internal and there you try to sell, you can
hold, there are to many options to cover in this post, if you want more
info i suggest you oin the free facebook group i created where i document
my entire journey with ico and share it with all the members.

If you guys investing into ICOs, I will do one better, and give you guys a private sale for a project that a lot of you don't know yet. This project has been vetted by some big industry people, and is part of a private group that I'm a member of.
