RE:
On his site, he warns that his software sets off antivirus software. Read it and decide for yourself, run it in sand box. I haven't had any problem with it. Here is what he says in his FAQ:
Q. My Anti-Virus keeps stopping the install, what gives?

A.
Your anti virus program will put up a warning against unrecognized .exe
files. Make sure your anti-virus software is set to only give you a
warning otherwise, it will not allow you to install. You should then
whitelist the software so it will be recognized in the future.

This software has been tested and is safe for your system.

Q: Norton 360?s reputation system is saying there is an issue or my security software doesn’t like the file.

A:
Norton 360 is a little paranoid, not that that is always a bad thing! I
don’t use it myself but apparently there is a setting in there
somewhere called ‘reputation system’, this is basically a system that
works on the ‘wisdom of crowds’ in which it guesses if a file could
maybe just possibly be “iffy” based on guesses made based on other
things other users of Norton have downloaded).

Q. My anti-virus program gives me a warning of suspicious activity/possible threat.. What’s Going On?

A.
The software contains the built-in functionality to “call-home” to
verify the software registration – even though I don’t have that feature
“turned on” the coding exists and your anti-virus program may be set to
be suspicious of any new executable program it doesn’t recognize, that
contains code for connecting to the internet.

Your
anti-virus program is not smart enough to recognize what is not a real
threat and what is an actual threat. It can only check for certain
characteristics that are common in malicious programs. That’s how it
works.

First
make sure that your anti-virus program is set to simply “warn” you of
possible threats (rather than let it take action automatically).. so YOU
can decide when you trust the source of software you install.. and not
let your anti-virus software “guess” what should be trusted and take
action without your approval.

Then when it pops the warning, you can add the software to the “exceptions” list (allowed programs/whitelist).

If your anti-virus program is not sophisticated enough to allow exceptions.. you need a better anti-virus program.

Hey,
He wasn't downloading an .exe file. He downloaded the .zip file which I got from Dave Cisneros website. The .exe file is the file to install the software. It's inside the .zip file

File name: MSM-Android-Portfolio.exe

Your first clue should have been the GIGANTIC red flag of an ".EXE" when you were trying to download a zip file LOL!
