Focusing on rankings is the mistake most so-called SEO's make. While smart seo's focus on traffic.

In paid advertising ... we hear (street wide) 'targeted traffic' preached to death. WHILE THE SMART 'IN THE KNOW' PAID ADVERTISERS FOCUS ON VOLUME (this is primary seen with massive scale media buys).

They may target something as broad as 'LOTTO' and send that traffic to a very general offer, that nearly every human being needs, wants, or desires.
