Generating Targeted and Good ROI website traffic
I own the following ecommerce business - http://www.bottlemeamessage.com, its family owned and operated, we were doing really well for the past 12 years, but now steadily business has declined, we got hit hard by the latest google panda update, but are working our way back up in the SERPs.
So what am I doing to market my business - ppc on adwords and bing... about 200 words some long tailed others targeted. - what keyword software would you recommend?

Read and watched more FB videos and pdfs about marketing on Facebook, tried that out lost more money than I care to admit but am learning. - ideas, tips, software recommendations.

Email direct marketing to those I feel in the corporate world could benefit by our product.

Use GSA SER to get good SERP for specific keywords, last google update about 6 months ago, killed me this is when I took over the SEO, previously was paying other to do it, this is when the crap hit the fan and have brought the site out of the sandbox.

Some advice, guidance and some expertise, I own the website, and the business family owned and operated.

I have been through this wonderful forum, via search and viewing each section subsection, lots of good info, some I know, other I don't but lets face it, there is a lot here, a whole lot.

Thank you,
Keith C

RE:
After quickly checking your On-Page SEO via the source code - it appears to me there is (much) room for SEO improvement, which in turn should improve your SERPs.

ex: adding to links Titles, Tool Tip Text and Alt code using Keywords + name all your Pics/Videos with Keyword names; clean-up meta Keywords (and remove duplicates).

...among various other improvements. How's your overall 'Web Presence' (including Social Media pages and back-links; additional 'Authority Sites')?

I'll drop by again later and see if I can find some links here for doing a SEO Audit on yourself.

All the Best!

PS: On My Website Guru website I have SEO tools (all free) you can use to analyze your site if you like - just PM me for URL :-)

RE:
YW kccan - and Thx for the [+Reps]!

It's always nice to help out a fellow BBHFer, as much as I appreciate the motivating addition to my Reputation points here :-)
BBHF has benefited me in numerous ways (as I climb toward riches haha (someday!)), and I am more than happy to pay it forward (whatever I can) in the spirit of continued BBHF sharing. Long live BBHF!! hehe

Hopefully, (like myself) you will find some gems in the above resources, and actionable insights toward improving your Website SEO.
Upon finding any other potentially useful resources, I'll add them to the list of links in the above post for your convenience.
As well, I'll send you a PM later with some specific thoughts and SEO recommendations on your site, which you can consider.

All the Best!

RE:
Another PM Sent kccan - However, I post some thoughts here in list form to show other BBHFers 'example parts of a SEO strategy':
***********************
a) Research and Analyze latest core keywords and related semantic keywords, both specific and broad to your niche (for cost-effective targeting).
b) Buy the best domains in .com where available, and in other extensions where best fits (for expanded marketing and defensive registration against competitors).
c) Use keywords throughout your site verbatum, link titles, image names and alt tags, page names, articles, back-link names (for SEO juice).
d) Build 'authority' sites to complement your 'money' site, and optimize (then back-link to your money site). Build safe links to your money site, and experiment more with different link campaigns for your authority sites.
e) Use related keywords which currently get monthly searches but no bids for your Adsense dollars for lost-cost monetization (advertise low sell high right? hehe) - use this as a complement to other ad strategies.

I use these techniques (among others) on my sites with decent results, however would refer to a more experienced 'SEO Masters' for greater insights and other actions which one can do to improve Website SEO. For example, there is a lot to Social Media optimization which I also believe would help with SEO and sales.

If anyone else would like to offer insights (and corrections!) to the above, it would be much appreciate, as we all learn from each other :-)

Cheers and All the Best!

When doing SEO, you should do it right. Even if you have to use SEO software, you have to learn first carefully. SEO software is good, I also use it. But you must know how to use it properly. If you use it correctly, it will be very easy to get in on the first page of google.
see you at the top
