California Kid: Is it something specific about how he is presenting it that doesn't work now, or is it just a general thing that business owners are seeing too many 'offers' and just ignore them? As you are someone who has been using this idea for a good while, I would be interested in hearing your thoughts on using these sites to get leads.

Same here!

I dont know much about this strategy! Input from experience people is appreciated! :)

I have quickly read this and the 1st part as mentioned previously goes into using Daily Deals sites to promote whatever it is you want to offer to other businesses. The example used is for video production, and the 2nd half of the pdf gives you a way to use Windows Movie Maker to make your videos, and also gives some brief details on getting your video ranked.

If you are new to making videos then that info might be useful, it is not in depth but it is enough to get you started. Obviously you can use the ideas of the daily deals sites to promote anything that you might want to offer, but if you are trying to promote crap it will more than likely fail. If you have a decent, professional service to offer and price it right then you could make some money using this method.

will attain the same success I enjoyed – and continue to enjoy - by
creating and ranking videos to promote local businesses.

Yep the "template" for that phrase/concept came from Robert Allen in the 1980's, for his No Money Down real estate approach- His headline was something like "Drop me in any city, take away my wallet, and just give me a phone book, and I'll have a property under contract with positive cash flow within 72 hours with no money down" etc. etc.-

Fantastic Headline!
