[GUIDE] Simple Method | MNS + Social Networking + Adsense = $$$PROFIT$$$
This is a pretty simple guide, it is more so for to help spark ideas and to add your own twist. This is the exact method I have been using for the past few months on my "experiment" sites.
[hide]Before I go into the method, I feel what makes this more of a success is I have stuck mainly with "women related niches". I'm going to be using makeup as an example. Registered a site along the lines of applymakeupeasily.com. I wasn't focused on ranking but wanted the domain to be niche related. I then registered a facebook, twitter, and pinterest account, You'll want to link the FB and twitter accounts to the Pinterest account. That way anything you post on Pinterest will also post on your wall, and status update. This helps to bring in more traffic and gain a larger follower/member base WordPress installed, and a simple adsense friendly theme (blogger works too). At first, I uploaded about 300 pictures to the blog, then pinned those pictures to Pinterest boards. I also liked a few hundred pictures to help give a boost and bring exposure to the account. After a few days of doing this I had gained a few dozen followers and a few hundred UVs to the blog. I never focus on how many likes, re-pins, or followers I have. I believe you need a few dozen followers, to at least re-pin your pins and help bring in more exposure. By doing this, it will help to bring you more followers and they share with their friends and brings more views to the blog. I would occasionally comment on other popular pins, but never anything spamming or trying to get them to view/buy something. It was along the lines of: "ooh, that's pretty" or "I like this" etc, etc. Not a lot, no more than 10-20 comments a day I'd say That way it don't look spammy and makes people more inclined to at least look at your profile (maybe even follow you). After gaining a small follower base, I started posting "how-to's" and tutorials. I'd post the pic and tutorial onto the blog and pin the picture on Pinterest, and in the description state it is a tutorial. So the picture is a lady putting on eyeliner and the description says "Eyeliner Tutorial". They have to click the picture that takes them to your site to view the tutorial. There they usually view other posts and if adsense is placed right, they will click your ads. I always have adsense ads placed under post title, under picture and bottom of content. I also placed ad codes on the side of the site as well. If your twitter and facebook accounts are linked you can utilize this to connect followers from those accounts as well. Initially, I would post a few hundred pictures every few days, but this seemed to not only be time consuming but it seemed to just clutter up the boards. I noticed by pining 2-5 pictures every few hours around peak hours and allowing those pins to gain exposure, then pin a few more pins the next day. Doing this every day, just a few times a day would bring the blog at least a few hundred, sometimes a couple thousand UVs a day. The site I have been "experimenting" with has been earning on average $1-$5 a day for the past 3 months and gets about 20k Uvs monthly. If this is done with multiple sites, you could earn a decent profit. I also didn't use any bots, or multiple accounts so if done properly you could gain a lot more exposure using multiple dummy accounts to bump some of your pins onto the front page I also noticed that peak pinterest hours tend to be around 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., 11:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. FYI: 75% of the people that visited the site were Iphone users, if you have a mobile site and utilize this right you can earn even more with mobile ads. Other ways to earn with this method: You could also add an affiliate store to your site. Write a short article on how this product was really useful or use it in one of the tuts, and don't make it look like a sales pitch. Do not link directly to the affiliate referral but pin the picture in the blog post. This way pinterest users won't be taken directly to the affiliate link but to your site describing the item and you can place the affiliate link on your site. This method is very simple, yes many people already know about this and I have read similar methods posted here already. This is my own twist, it works, and will earn.[/spoiler] |
