Q: The created video can't be played, or the created video only has sound, no image, what can i do?
A: First please simply press "Tools -> Repair Encoder" to repair the program Encoder, then try again, if still has problem, please
re-install the program(uninstall first, then install again).

Q: I can't create video, or the created video has problem, but preview well(press "Preview the movie", it's no problem), what can i do?
A: It's the simple solution to re-install the program(unintall first, then install again), then try again, it will be OK.

Q: I can't import some special format video files into Youtube Movie Maker, what can i do?
A: Please update your Youtube Movie Maker to the v12 or above version(uninstall old version first, then install new version), then try
again. But if you would like to continue using the old version, please disable the Microsoft DTV/DVD Decoder temporarily when
running the program, then try again, and here is a step by step guide about how to disable the Microsoft DTV/DVD Decoder temporarily.

Q: I can't play the created MP4 videos in the windows media player, what can i do?
A: The old version(v11 or older) no this problem, but in Youtube Movie Maker v12(and future version), we cleaned all third-part
codecs in our program Installation Package, that can keep your computer clean, but maybe you can't play the created MP4
videos in the windows media player(because windows media player doesn't support MP4 format well), for this problem, here are
two solutions:
1. Install a third-part codecs package(for example, K-Lite Codec Pack, etc.) by yourself, but please note, you'd better
re-install our program again after installed the third-part codecs package.
2. Don't use windows media player, please use our program built-in media player(EasyPlayer) to play the videos, it supports all
video formats. Here are two ways to run EasyPlayer, please see below pics.
Run from program Tools menu.
Run From windows start menu.

Q: After installed the third-part codec package(K-lite codec Package, etc.), I can't create video, or the created video no sound or
no image, what can i do?
A: It's the simple solution to re-install the program(unintall first, then install again), then try again, it will be OK. For this problem, just
because the third-part codec package(K-lite codec Package, etc.) removed some required codecs, so next time if you viewed
below messages when installing the third-part codec package(K-lite codec Package, etc.), please press "No", don't press "Yes",
and that will avoid similar problem.

Q: I met "cmdtype.xml" error on my computer, what can i do?
A: If you meet "cmdtype.xml" error on your computer, please simply click here for a solution with step by step guide.

Q: The conversion progress stops at XX%, what can i do?
A: If the progam stops at XX.XX% forever(longer than 5mins at the same point), maybe there is something wrong, please simply
press "Stop" button to stop the progress, then press "Publish To Local" button again, repeat 1-3 times, it will be OK.

Q: I had purchased Youtube Movie Maker Gold Edition before, but now I would like to upgrade the Gold Edition to Platinum Edition,
what can i do?
