He recommends to monetize videos with:

1. Promoting Affiliate Offers
2. Displaying Ads With AdSense

From my own experience the methods are lame.

Why?

It's almost NOT possible to monetize quotes videos with affiliate offers.
People are not ready for distraction, especially when watching and
listening inspiration video/music.

As to displaying ads, they hate to be interrupted.
A very small percentage will actually let the ad run.

All these tell me that the author has little knowledge, no
solid background and experience in video marketing.

As to the method...

1. I don't say it's not working.

2. It DOES work if you make a couple of changes.

My 2 cents hint for those of you who want to proceed with this course:

Instead of promoting affiliate offers or displaying Google ads,
you may want to build a list first, and then monetize it with
affiliate products.
