don't know why the someone would be so persistant in trying to not only take down an old version, but also just a mediocre scraper when there are better ones out there now like mobile renegade(free plug for getting links taken down)

do you know how to read? read the last paragraph. try mirroring once in a while and find out quickly how much time it takes sometimes....especially with yellabot when the filenames are getting blacklisted on my favorite mirror site.

everything is give and take. there are pros and cons to everything. if i didn't do this the con would be more wasted time. by doing this, the con is that some of the people who are coming here wont be able to access the file right away. i tried to find a fair balance.

now to answer your specific question as to why the strict restriction? it's not a strict restriction at all. i can create 10 posts and get 200 thanks in a day just by giving back and sharing. this is actually a fairly low restriction, but high enough to where the developer isn't going to be knocking on my pm door either....and if he does, he's caught.

with that said, in another month i may create another mirror if the demand is there and nobody has mirrored. as it stands now though, every mirror that being posted is being taken down in 2-3 days. this is unacceptable for those who spend their time trying to give back and help others and the forum.

now instead of asking questions, i suggest that if you like this forum, give back a little so you don't have to ask these questions anymore.

as it stands now, i have offered the link to 4 people already and put 2 people on my ignore list for ignoring the requirements and wasting my time to look at their stats.

now if you take a closer look you will notice that i am the only one willing to mirror this thread right now. be grateful for that at least. i tried to find a balance and a fair method of sharing. if you think i like to respond to pms and risk my box filling up where i wont be able to receive messages, think again. i am limiting myself in this deal too ya know....why? because i have taken from this forum and i want to give back. it's an attitude everyone should have here unless you like being labeled a leacher.....
