The problem here is that at some point Google decided that they don't like the way marketers were running their campaigns, so they threw up as many roadblocks as they possibly could. which sucks for us as marketers, right? They slapped our sales and squeeze pages into oblivion... Beat our thin content sites into submission... Killed our pages that were obvious affiliate promotions... Basically, they turned the table on small business people (you?), and made it harder than ever to turn a profit... IT WASN'T ALWAYS THAT WAY THOUGH...
It wasn't all that long ago that you could put together a nice looking lead capture (squeeze) page, do a little on and off page SEO, and then watch your email collecting money machine rise to the top of Google, knowing that it wouldn't be long until you started banking. It also wasn't all that long ago that you could throw up a thin page of content that acted as a gateway of sorts for a clickbank or CPA promotion. Hell, with these kinds of sites, you could put them up, and start to see profit rolling in sometimes from day 1... But, those were the "good ol' days" when it was pretty much not only possible, but fairly easy for the newest of newbies to make at the very least a decent chunk of change online.... Try those things today, and you'll be lucky to find your site in Googles index, never mind on the front page, or in a position that potential visitors could find it.... Lucky for us (and you?) though, we've found a way “around” this little roadblock that Google has tried to throw in the path of our profits, so.... LET'S LOOK AT THE SOLUTION
The solution to this particular problem lies somewhere between playing by Googles Rules, and still being able to do business the way that gives the best chance for profits. More than likely, you've already experimented and tried tons of different things only to find out...doing so, isn't as easy as it sounds, right? What Google wants is websites that have a decent amount of content on them, and have the potential to provide a solid user experience...
