Great question. I asked him the same thing.

He said he doesn't want to outsource - and he spends too much time smoking marijuana. (Legal here in Oregon....) Which might give you a hint of what a lot of his listings are related to.

You can't change people. They all have their "things".

My thing is "focused action on the keys to low-risk-adjusted return".

Others just don't care so much after they get just enough to "chill out", permanently. That is their deal.

That leaves more opportunity for those who really hit it.

I tried this - found that I could find products ca 10-15% less than on Amazon relatively easily from local suppliers as shown in the WSO. But by the time you've sorted out shipping and Amazon fees, it's just a few dollars margin if you're lucky. Post #20 by scraigwake is very apposite - completely concur with his/her comments. I think unique products are the way to go - which means sourcing headaches but ultimately higher margins.
