Enjoy! I'm going to bed. It's almost midnight. Going to check my mail tomorrow to see if I have some customers. If you don't make a sale when you've sent out 500 mails then your niche is oversatured. Came to my mind that people love animals. Maybe a tip: make a video around a dog niche (dog trimming, dog training or whatever) and let's try that. You can find businesses on Yelp and try to reach them with some mails. You're not going to make money right away but the most important is: learn from your mistakes. Take action action action because it's better than giving up or laziness. Think out of the box and you might hit a golden gem. Try social media for example > Instagram. There is a Windows 8 App that I use called InstaPic for running Instagram on PC.

Hope my ideas are helpful. Give it your own twist and you'll be succesful! Enjoy the weather!

This is a good method. Here are some twists to make it better...

1. Use better videos. The ones in the product are really unimpressive and just to get you started. You want your prospects to see the videos and say "Wow!" You can buy (or find here) much better offline PLR videos that would work with this method.

2. Set up a YouTube channel and load the video to it. Optimize it for your keyword, e.g. "Chicago Child Care". Get some views (you can get thousands for $5 on Fiverr) and get the video ranked. NOW you have something more valuable and you could RENT it for $50/month or more.

3. Turn these ranked videos into lead machines and sell the leads. Follow steps #1 and #2 above and put a tracking phone number in the video. Forward the tracking number to a local business and give them a few free leads. Then call to negotiate a price per lead, e.g. $10/call.

These ideas all came from other WSO's. Mix and match to suit your preference.

Thanks for the tips biggee, but I'm so tired of the clients I already
have that I'm ready to throw in the towel on offline marketing. I just
tried to collect some money from a guy I'm doing a website for because
he only made a down payment, and he said nobody's paying him either, and
he'll pay me when he gets paid. Tongue Well, needless to say I'm NOT doing
any more work on his site until I get some more money out of him. I
renamed my username Passive Queen here a while back because I'm
basically done with the offline thing. I was just trying to make some
quick money to pay the bills. Anybody got a favorite CPA course I
should try or something else to make some fairly quick dough?
Thanks,
PQ Verysad

Wow, here is a bunch of 110% generic advice that totally su.cks!

You are speculating and it is clear you don't have a clue what works and are guessing.

Here's a clue for you offline bigshot - DO NOT f*cking guess! I will take your newbie comments one at a time:

1.) What a f*cking stroke of genius! I think everyone "gets" they need better videos. Only - unless you can edit and rework the PLR videos here - you are out of luck.

Want to know how many of the PLR videos I have used here?

ZERO - NONE
of the PLR videos here are acceptable - and I've looked at dozens.

2.) Just setup a YouTube Channel, optimize it, and bomb it with backlinks from Fiverr?

That is about as st.upid as it gets here (or anywhere). And exactly how do you optimize it, Oh Offline Wizard? This backlinking, million views bullshit hasn't worked in at least a year. And YouTube is shutting entire accounts down for using anything they detect are "unnatural" backlinking and viewing patterns. Tons of views, lots of backlinks - too much of anything other than consistent, natural views will f*ck you!

3.) You are at least one hundred miles closer here, but this is a horrible description of a video lead generation model - it takes time to develop - and treating it the way you did leaves hundreds more questions than answers. This has NOTHING to do with video "flipping" - which IS the model discussed here.

Only $10 per call/lead? - not in my universe cowboy! Not unless you are only selling leads to guys that mow lawns.

Bad advice is 100 times worse than no advice!

Don't talk about bullshit you have never done - or are guessing at - maybe even tried, and have obviously done VERY POORLY.

Go away and try to baffle others with your offline "brilliance" that may impress the newbies somewhere - don't know where that may be - but somewhere other than here.

Someone like me - who actually does this sh.it as one of the profit centers of their business will come along and expose you for the lightweight, know-nothing, full-of-bullshit mo.ron you are!

Wow!

I was going to highlight the most pitiful remarks here - then I realized the entire post is PITIFUL!

Hang on a second while I go hang myself in my bathroom!

Okay - I'm back - it wasn't remotely worth doing that.

You are going to check your emails to see if you have customers?!

How thoroughly disgusting!

You assume sending ONE weak-a.ss email to 500 people entitles you to make sales?!

There is so much wrong with this f*cking post, I don't know where to begin!

This is the same push-button mentality that will keep you poor - for - let's see - f*cking eternity!

But the second id.iotic statement beats everything else in this post!

"If you don't make a sale when you've sent out 500 mails then your niche is oversatured."

This is the worst kind of bullshit assumption in all the millions of reams of bullshit assumptions!

If you send 500 emails and get zero responses, what does this tell you?!

You are doing this as a business right? It isn't some id.iotic attempt to use a hobby to make money right?!

Here is a clue: What are the #1 things email marketers are complaining about today?

CONVERSIONS! DELIVERABILITY! OPEN RATES! (Yeah, the PROS track that sh.it!)

If the pros are complaining because conversions have dropped to near-zero, what does this tell you?!

And these are pros - albeit most are horrifically bad at any kind of marketing - even the kind they are supposed to be pros at doing.

You are following the pulse of what these guys are saying and complaining about, right?

What's wrong with the process? You are studying this, right? Professionals find out what the problems are and fix them!

Many of the issues are beyond anyone's control - the noose is getting tighter on those seeking to make money with email. I don't suppose any of you have given much thought to the new tabs in Gmail, for example.

Why do you think there is a "low importance and low value" Promotions tab now?

Huh?

This noose has tightened-up on all the lightweights that "think" they know marketing - but most especially email marketing.

So, what do you do?

Adapt - or seek your future working for Walmart!

You go back to snail mail, which no one uses anymore and is exactly why it is more effective that it ever has been.

No SPAM filter for that!

Or even better, how about picking-up the ancient device known as the telephone?

Oh Sh.it - that just blew that push-button bullshit in your heads away, didn't it?
!

Well, hell! There is lots of money waiting for the few people that are willing to hear lots of NOs to get to just a couple of people that say YES!

But let's assume - for second you can't walk or talk.

There are still ways to get your message to people. So what's wrong with the above statement - exactly?

As a copywriter, marketing and sales guy - above all else - the first problem with ZERO conversions is -

THE OFFER!

You are making an assumption the market is saturated - AND that is 200% BULLSHIT!

As a professional, I ask what is wrong with my offer. If 500 people failed to respond, what did I DO WRONG?

I made a poor f*cking offer!

And is your message even getting to the right people? Is is getting there at all?

Did I even use the right medium to reach this niche?!

Is the purpose of the email to make a sale or prospect? Do you have a purpose for the email?

Do you even know?!

If it is to prospect, what is they conversion mechanism? Is that what is failing?

Does the subject of the offer su.ck? (The video)

If you are closing in the email, is this is your intent? Are you executing it the right way? Are you asking the right closing question?!!

Is the offer compelling - urgent?!

The immediate problem is that you NEVER, EVER send ONE email to EVERY prospect on your list. You split-test and see what works.

Or you can pickup the phone and move from zero to profit fast as hell!

You can be the prototypical IM wallflower that wants to spend their lives pushing buttons with no real structure or even clear intent -

OR

You can be a professional and take deliberate, effective actions that get you to paydays! Know what the biggest secret to making money online is?

NO ONE TALKS ABOUT THIS:

If you are not a sales and marketing ace - and even if you are - an online business success almost ALWAYS has an offline root!

Do you think all these IM superstars go offline and do seminars and s.hit because it it LESS profitable?

Do you think flim-flammers like Frank Kern and Mike Filsaime make most of their money from offliners or onliners - experts or rookies?! The number one thing these guys are:

Master Illusionists!

They are all masters at making you deathly afraid of what you think you don't know - cannot do - or MUST have to make money in MARKETING!

This is the oldest ruse in marketing and copywriting! Identify a pain - rub salt in the wound - then represent yourself as the person that has a magic potion to stop the pain!

It is as old as dirt and still works like a champ!

Wake up folks - you are thinking you are doing the same dance as these guys, but you are focused on all the wrong things - or doing all the right things badly!

This is about either being in business or being a hobbyist. 99.9% of the people I see online are the latter.

Thanks for the info. You have some pretty decent knowledge about marketing techniques. There's still plenty to learn for me in the world of IM. But you'll never know if you don't take action. I'm going to split-test like you said.
