INSTRUCTIONS:

CURRENT WORKING METHOD (Thanks to Dopeman, xn.0000 and everyone who helped)

1. Go to C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc

2. Open Hosts with notepad.

3. Remove this:

4. Download and install PRIVOXY

5. Go to the privoxy install dir and search for the file user.action.

6. Add this code to the bottom of the file:

7. In your tool (eg. ranktracker) go to proxy settings and set as IP: 127.0.0.1 and port is 8118 (standard port which privoxy runs)

OLD METHOD:
1. Install SEO PowerSuite 2013 and after installation do not run any program yet.

2. Goto C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

I see most people are having problems over here. Please do this correctly.
IMPORTANT - 3. Open the file "hosts" in notepad and add this in the end:

127.0.0.1       www.link-assistant.com

and save it OR just replace the original "hosts" file with the one provided in the keygen folder.
To confirm, open your browser and go-to link-assistant.com. If the site doesn't open, you can proceed forward :)

4. Now just start the KeyGen and generate your serial for your desired product and apply.
(Keygen requires .NET 4 installed on your computer to run)

NOTE: To update, just add # before 127.0.0.1. For example:
#127.0.0.1 link-assistant.com
#127.0.0.1 http://www.link-assistant.com
Once updates are done, remove the #.


If after registering your license shows Professional, just generate another key and update your license (might take a few tries) and it will become Enterprise.

Troubleshoot:

1. What is the rar file password?
Solutions:
(I) It's written on the main freebies forum!

2. Cannot open KeyGen.
Solutions:
(I) Install .NET 4
(II) In the properties of keygen, make compatible with XP.
(III) PM me and I'll reply you with keys.

3. Keys are not working.
Solutions:
(I) Make sure your hosts file are correct. Either edit again or simply replace original with the one provided in the
download.
(II) Make sure the name is BlackNinjx (case sensitive)

4. It is registered but it shows Professional edition. How to get it to Enterprise edition.
Solutions:
(I) Generate another key and submit. It may take a few tries but it will eventually upgrade to Enterprise edition.

5. Cannot update software.
Solutions:
(I) You need to edit the host file. Open host file with notepad and add # before the urls and save it. Open your browser and open link-assistant.com. If the website opens, you can update your software. While update it will reject your registration info but don't worry, after successfully updating the software, edit your host file back to original i.e. remove the # and generate new key and register again.

6. RankTracker issue - access to developer site.

I have gotten SEO Powersuite to run correctly now with no errors using the keys created with the keygen from Blackninjx. I sent a PM to Blackninjx so he can update his instructions on the first page if what I found is correct. Please test what I wrote below and see if it works for you and post a reply. Thanks.
It looks like a lot of people are having trouble with SEO Powersuite since the new changes they made and the new solution Blackninjx provided using Privoxcy. When attempting to run one of the tools in SEO Powersuite (eg. Rank Tracker) we get an error saying that it cannot connect to the internet, so the tool does not work.
But I think I have found the solution to make it work correctly.
#1) When you edit the user.action file in the Privoxcy directory it must look like this:

if you are using privoxy .You are not connected with seo power suit server then how will it will update on back ground when you are off line.
