[GET] The Ultimate List of IFTTT Recipes for Marketers
Okay members I'm the first to admit I've never used IFTTT. Boy-o-boy will that change. I came across this article "The Ultimate List of IFTTT Recipes for Marketers" on seerinteractive.com and I think it's very informative and powerful.

Here is an example copy and pasted from the article:

Track Your Competitors’ Website Changes:
WHAT IT MEANS: Keep track of the changes that your competitors make to their websites.
HOW TO DO IT:
• Use VisualPing.io to monitor a competitors’ web page. Set the timing and
type of change to whatever you like, and add your email address for
notification.
CREATE A RECIPE ON IFTTT:
• THIS Channel: Email
• Email from Visual Ping
• THAT Channel: SMS
Now, you’ll get a text message every time your competitor updates their page.

So it really is as simple as this visual:

and another example is this visual:

The Recipe has a Trigger and an Action!

RE:
Thank you raidernation and +reps back to you! Now these are just some of my wild brainstorming thoughts I'm throwing out to ya'll. I've been notepadding it so here're my thoughts so far:

"I've been doing some brainstorming and realized that this is also very powerful for offline marketing. Say your implementing the OMG Day Job Killer type of work in your local market. You don't even need to tell your paying businesses about this but the data that you can receive can get very deep. I mean that there are different PACED businesses for offline marketing. Businesses that can make quick cash based on certain/extreme situations. Just thinking outloud here members so bear with me:

Plumbers, electricians, basically most trade crafts that are in Extra need during extreme weather conditions. As the webmaster you can use IFTTT, without even using the acronym at all, to close deals or leverage more money coming your way by simply setting up SMS reports directly to the Craftsmen and women. It's so simple when you think it thru and yet powerful because it really is a set it and forget it model. Maybe I'm missing something and help me if I'm wrong but almost everyone and their dog has a smartphone now so this model really works.

Now imagine a different market such as catering, limousine services, gambling/bookies, development of new apps, charities, etc. Just think through what each of these markets NEED to be profitable or Alpha in their marketplace. What RECIPES would work best? To my noob IFTTT mind the possibilities that could be offered to offline business is endless and they don't need to know all your doing is simple IFTTT.

Could even establish new sites just to accomodate data driven needs for different niches not yet being serviced. The new sites would be used in the recipes. and no I'm not high nor under the influence! LOL.
