As a health educator, I hear a lot of stories about how people are struggling to stay healthy.

Most of them start with: "I know what to do, I just can't seem to put it all together..."

Over the last few years, I've had the opportunity to interview
hundreds of health experts to figure out just what is holding most
people back from reaching their health goals.

The lessons I've learned have been surprising to say the least.

What these experts have told is me, over and over again, is
that most people are focusing on the wrong aspects of health and as a
result getting the wrong results.

I'm sure you've felt frustration, anger, shame, fear, or guilt

about your food choices before.

All those negative emotions don't do you any good. They make you hate yourself for even trying to get healthy.

And they definitely don't get you to fit into your jeans or give you energy to make it through your day.

and you don't have to feel awful about yourself, your health and your
body.

The answers are actually simpler than you may already think and, better yet, there aren't that many.

In fact, from my research, I've discovered some essential keys
to improving health, staying committed and reaching your ideal weight.

What I want to explain to you right now is the missing link to great health, energy and weight loss...

Of the hundreds of experts that I've interviewed, who walk,
talk and look healthy, there's one thing that is common among all of

feeling bloated and gassy and they've learned quick and easy recipes

This was just how I started and, trust me, it was hard.

When I started eating raw foods, I felt all alone.

I needed a kick-start too.

Well, more like a kick in the rear...

I come from addiction. My past is littered with alcohol and
drug abuse. It started in high school with beer and marijuana. Then, in
college I got hooked on liquor and drugs. I was also hooked on
processed foods like soda, pizza, chips and anything else that came in a
box. (Look, I was in college... it was cheap and easy!)

One morning after college, I woke up, peeled my head off my
pillow, literally, and asked myself an important question...

"Is there anything better than this?"

What followed was a string of thought provoking answers that
lead me to raw foods and where I am now - a personal trainer, an author
of three (now four!) health books, host of an extremely popular
online health show viewed in over 102 countries, interviewer of over
200 well-known health authors and experts, and advocate for consumer
awareness.

I've also been addiction-free for over eight years.

But it wasn't easy to transition from my previous way of eating to where I am now.

I wish I had a book or a guideline to take me through some of the pitfalls.
