I was lucky enough to speak at the London 2012 Gathering on copywriting - later speaking with the audience, I discovered that whilst long form copy was a huge challenge...

So was Short form copy. Single sentences that get emails opened, links clicked, PPC and Facebook Ads converting, thread posts responded to and Sales Letters read.

Short copy is what generates all the cash in the world.

You can have the best long form copy - but that won’t get your email opened, your sales letter read or product bought.

if you have ever used a sentence to try
- get that click
- get that sale
- recommend that product
- get that email read
- to market that local business
- to make money

then you've encountered the power of ‘short copy‘.

We all need copywriting - from long to short - but it‘s the short that does the heavy lifting and get's your foot in the door.

Long copy is hard, but ironically, for many short copy is harder.

Why? Well, everything rides on short copy - without an effective headline, no one even reads your sales letter.
- Without an effective thread title, no one even read your headline
- Without an effective email subject line - no one clicks your link,

Even then, you need effective link copy to get the click‘

Everything from Facebook adverts to traditional PPC, to ofﬂine marketing - short copy is key to getting results.

(results = cash BTW).

Sounds simple right? Thing is - if you've tried to write that single sentence, you know how hard it us
So few words to achieve what you need to - every single word has to be right.....
