RE: The New Flip

No disrespect taken. Meaning: Arbitrage is the simultaneous purchase and sale of an asset to profit from an imbalance in the price. For example, I could buy an option based on an imbalance in pricing and turn around minutes later and sell it at a higher or lower price depending on if I bought a call or sold a put. Same market, just an imbalance in pricing creates an arbitrage opportunity. So as you can see, it doesn't have to be in a different market to create arbitrage opportunities. So in the course, I could definitely sell on another platform if I wanted to create that opportunity or I could just relist on the same platform to create the same arbitrage opportunity. You are correct this is both online and offline, so you would have to determine if it's worthwhile to engage. If you would rather sit in front of a laptop that's a personal prerogative. Just saying, mate! |
