[GET] The Go-Giver | By Bob Burg and John David Mann
The Go-Giver tells the story of an ambitious young man named Joe who yearns for success. Joe is a true go-getter, though sometimes he feels as if the harder and faster he works, the further away his goals seem to be. And so one day, desperate to land a key sale at the end of a bad quarter, he seeks advice from the enigmatic Pindar, a legendary consultant referred to by his many devotees simply as the Chairman. Over the next week, Pindar introduces Joe to a series of successful “go-givers”: a restaurateur, a CEO, a financial advisor, a real estate broker and “The Connector,” who brought them all together. Pindar’s friends share with Joe the Five Laws of Stratospheric Success and teach him how to open himself up to the power of giving. Joe learns that changing his focus from getting to giving—putting others’ interests first and continually adding value to their lives—ultimately leads to unexpected returns. Imparted with wit and grace, The Go-Giver is a heartwarming and inspiring tale that brings new relevance to the old proverb “give and you shall receive.” It’s Not About You It's Not About YouIn this inspirational parable, we meet Ben, a young manager charged with persuading five hundred employees of a struggling chair manufacturer to agree to a merger as a way out of their financial woes. Facing what seems like an impossible uphill climb, Ben seeks the advice of Claire, an old friend, who introduces him to an eccentric elderly lady known simply as Aunt Elle. Over the course of the week leading up to the crucial vote, Aunt Elle teaches Ben about the power of influence and positive persuasion. Ben also meets with each of the manufacturer’s four top executives in an effort to sway them to his side, and instead comes away from each meeting with a different leadership lesson. But it’s not until Ben reflects on his own experiences that he learns the critical principle so many people in positions of power fail to grasp: it’s not about me, it’s about you. RE:
Rep's and thanks to the Grim Scraper.
A quick little review. One of the downloads is a picture of the clown who made this crap. All of the others are 1 to a whopping 4 pages page in length. A complete waste of time. |

RE: [GET] The Go-Giver | By Bob Burg and John David Mann
Drummer Wrote:Beware, and dont fall for these sweet sounding theories Where does he says to give away your money? Please, show me. It looks like you have not read the book. There are so many things you can give beside money. Even in this forum you are giving advice, warning people not to read this (although it's a good book) The principles of The Go-Giver applies everywhere. For instance, that's why this forum have reps. To aknowledge and reward.Go-Givers. What's a "leecher"? Someone who doesn't give, and only take. You also are missing one of the most powerful and important leverage aspects of sales. If you want an explanation of the principle described in the book (wich refers to give, but not necessarily money), read Gary Bencivenga's example described in Ben Settle's Crackerjacker secret nº16. http://bestblackhatforum.com/Thread-GET-...ng-Secrets http://bestblackhatforum.com/Thread-GET-...ts-pdf-mp3 Is also the "Spider Secret" in Sean D'Souza - Brain Alchemy Master Class pdf page 57. http://bestblackhatforum.com/Thread-GET-...in+Alchemy http://bestblackhatforum.com/Thread-Sean...in+Alchemy There's a very nice explanation of the principle, and the rules on how to give. If you are looking for money, you may find the both book interesting. It will apply also wherever you have a relationship with other people. But please, read it. Don't judge it by it's cover or by what you imagine it says. I have just shared it http://bestblackhatforum.com/Thread-GET-...-Burg-mobi |
