RE: [GET] The E-Factor Diet
A Review about the E-Factor Diet by John Rowley:

Even if you aren't interested in dieting, you should give this a look.

Check out the sales letter first. Very well done. Makes you interested enough to check it out. Hits the "pain" points well and offers a plausible solution to a seriously growing problem.

The diet is much longer than I would prefer myself, but there is a reason. John Rowley has an interesting story with success/greatness, loss and success/greatness again. A lot of it hinging on his weight and his energy levels to make the success happen. Worth reading, if nothing more than to give you ideas of how to write some effective copy.... And he gives extremely great advice about how to succeed at anything; business, life, and even dieting.

A side point: Like millions of others, I have lost weight and gained weight and lost ..... and finally have reached the end of my cycling up and down. I have found "it", the system of maintaining my weight that works for me. And unless I suddenly go mental and forget what I "know", I have no doubt that I will never have a weight problem again. The fact that my "it" isn't the E-Factor Diet doesn't mean that it isn't just perfect for thousands of others....

I believe that there are no one-size-fits-all methods that exist for weight loss. Just as there are no one-size-fits-all methods for internet marketing/business success. What works for you is what works for you.

We are all so individual in our makeup because of our different histories, different things trigger the "change" response that we need to modify our actions to something more efficient and productive.

About the diet:

It is all about the fuel we run on. A quote from the manual:

If you got onto a plane that didn’t have
enough fuel, you would expect a sudden
stop at an inconvenient time. You would
also expect the consequences of this to be
deadly. The same is true when we don’t
fuel or care for our bodies properly. The
consequences are deadly.

The following core advice gives you more than 50 percent of the value of the complete diet with all additional nuances; IMO--this and walking 3-4 miles a day will do about as good as anything you could hope for....

It’s as simple as:
• Eat all the protein you want.
• Eat all the vegetables you want.
• Drink all the water you want.
• Stay away from foods to which you are
intolerant.

Another 20% improvement would be his recommendation to eat no "junk food", an obvious diet admonition.

The "keeper material" in this diet is the psychological motivation he includes. Example:

In the movie, Cinderella Man, Russell Crowe plays a down and out boxer who makes a dramatic comeback. The backdrop to this movie is the Great Depression, and prior to the Great Depression, Crowe’s character, Jimmy Braddock, was a champion boxer who lost his way. After his comeback, a reporter asks him, “You have lost before, what’s the difference this time?” Jimmy Braddock then answers, “I know what I’m fighting for.” The reporter follows up with, “And what’s that?” Jimmy comes back with what I feel is the most memorable and inspiring line in the whole movie. He simply says, “Milk.” That says it all. He now knew why he was fighting. He was fighting to feed his kids.

He was able to look defeat straight in the face and say, “Okay, one more round.” He was able to overcome failure because he had the energy and passion to achieve his goal of putting milk on the table. I feel this is the story of America. A spirit of passion for a worthy goal will let nothing stand in her way. “Okay, let’s go one more round” was the unspoken mantra for generations of Americans and this is what has made America the greatest country in the world.

What is your “milk”? What is your “why”? Why do you want to lose the fat? Why do you want to get healthy? Don’t skip this. Determining why you want to lose weight is more important than what food you will eat and which exercise programs you will follow.

Well done, John Rowley

Have a good weekend!
