Don't take my criticism negatively, I'm posting this comment to help you. I'd encourage you to look at these types of files from a different point of view without any dates tied to them.

They aren't produce. They don't have expiration dates on them.

The fundamentals of marketing and copywriting never change. And with that said, this is why you often see me hammering on about studying "old" copywriting material, especially ads and letters from the golden age of direct mail. The internet IS direct mail, it's just a new medium. Think about that. I'd say direct mail itself is even more powerful now because so many people and businesses ignore it. You can stand out like a turd in a swimming pool if you use direct mail and hit a targeted list with an offer they can't refuse.

Have a look at the thread a created titled: "4 Copywriting Books That Can Make You Filthy Rich" or something along those lines... .I forget the exact title.

Anyway - STUDY everything I posted there. Schwartz is an absolute master of persuasion and will get you to learn how markets think. You'll learn how to pin your products and services to the market.

Learn this shit because it can help you make money for the rest of your life. These past ads as well as the marketers and copywriters responsible for them have generated BILLIONS of dollars in every niche you can think of. These guys walk the walk and have the trail of home-runs to prove it.

I will take any old copywriting and marketing material any day over any of the watered down horseshit all these internet gurus pump out.

Not a chance. - This is the core of direct mail, it's not new at all. What pisses me off is the fact that these asshat gurus don't even give credit where credit is due.

Old school copywriting can make you rich if you study it and use it.

beat me to the punch nc- i was just about to go in to one of my long winded posts about how the fundamentals of marketing is psychology based and psychology doesn't change. methods can change, but not the fundamentals based on psychology.

i remember being interested in marketing ever since i was in jr. high and i noticed over time that there were the same fundamentals. digging a little deeper as to why this never changed, i slowly learned the psychology behind everything.

this is one of the few shares here i am going to enjoy downloading when the share is complete....and like solo, will probably be drinking a few beers while skimming everything
