I'm paying homage to my New Orleans roots with this share.

That's an illustration of the famed Voodoo Queen of New Orleans, Marie Laveau, on the front cover.

Now, I've already said that I share stuff I find and don't necessarily condone the content. I am not a voodoo practitioner (and you might not be either) but if you are a writer, reading a book like this could give you some insight into what one of your characters might believe in or practice.

Voodoo is a religion that has gotten a pretty bad rap but my post is simply to share what looks to be an interesting read ... neither to defend nor support the practice.

At any rate, it's fun to learn something new ... whether you plan to use it or not.

Come to think of it, there are a few folks on this forum who've riled me up in the past few days...
