Thanks to the op, but this is not a new betting strategy and looks like the seller doesn't really know too much about probabilities.
It's a form of compounding in a 4 bet accumulator, keeping some back after the first 2 bets if winning. The problem is that he expects you to win the first bet at odds of 8/1. |
