RE:
Very interesting Mr. MLM...

Back in my day, before the internet, you had to actually know how to play first.
Once you could play, then you would go work your ass off to make a dime. Maybe.
Maybe you got paid in beer, but that's besides the point.

Facebook was what happened to the poor souls below when you were busy throwing
everything in the hotel room off the balcony.

Sitting on your ass tweeting, texting and twerking was not in the cards.

In today's day and age, these activities seem to be prerequisites for any semblance
of a music career.

Let's see what this guide has to offer. I appreciate you sharing it here, since many of
the most talented musicians you'll ever meet can't afford to be a VIP because they're one
step away from being homeless.

I look forward to delving into it.

Maybe I'm wrong, but perhaps this method is better and cheaper than sending hookers, cocaine
and various farm animals to meetings with assorted industry professionals.

Maybe.

haha. so true. I was an audio/video mastering engineer for 10 years "back in the day" when recording was done on tape. Remember tape? Being able to play or sing wasn't a prerequisite back then, either. You'd be surprised at how many of your favorite recordings had very little of your favorite artists actually on there. Instead of autotune we had autodial. Meaning autodial on the phone and have a real singer or musician come in and lay down tracks and then we'd blend in the "artist".

RE:
Hey Elvis, that's hilarious. I was a bodyguard for Dokken and Tesla back in the eighties. I can tell you stories about hookers, cocaine and various farm animals ( and a-hole rock stars. Which I guess would explain the hookers, cocaine and various farm animals) :)
