disconnect your internet
start program and use your trial account so you get msg that for offline you must first inloggen click ok.
connect your internet and delete .com from your account

hello, I have the same problem with you. I have to install and uninstall VS 4 times lol
but now, it works perfectly. you may try this :

1. uninstall VS with revo uninstaller or something
2. delete VideoScribeDesktop folder in User/AppData/Roaming
3. install VS again and follow the instruction
4. when do the 7th step in the instruction. which say "You will get error msg, just close it and enter any creds (other than Trial) and use it..."
DO NOT close the VS when get error message. just close the notification and change the password for login
