Absolutely! It just requires your understanding the changes and making small appropriate adaptations according to your "new personage".

How do homeless people adapt to the changing money/identification systems? How do "illegal" aliens adapt?

Anything is possible once you put your mind to it. Look all around you and observe your surroundings. People nowadays are so entrenched in their mobile devices, they are so out of touch. They will be the ones with the RFID chip and obeying Big Brother. But you don't have to go that route.
