You upload it to the place you want it to be inside your cPanel>FileManager folder.

You have to login to your cpanel to do this, or download an ftp manager and upload from your pc.

If you don't know much bout Cpanel, ask your hosting provider bout it. You could upload file using Filezilla. I prefer Cpanel as it easy. usually your cpanel link would be like this:
yourdomain.com/cpanel
put your username and password (ask your hosting provider)
then go search File Manager. Upload file on public_html directory to make it work.
