Mega fails here - even with things no bigger than 100MB - and it ALWAYS fails with bigger stuff.

This one would be grand if it could be broken up into smaller chunks and maybe on Mediafire instead - at least for me, as that service always works flawlessly here.

I used to have problems with Mega and downloads stopping before completion. My solution was to run a different video on Windows Media player so the computer would not trigger sleep mode. I set Windows Media player to "repeat mode" so videos play indefinitely. Having a process running in the background prevents the computer from entering sleep mode and stopping the Mega download.

I also find that Mega works better if I download the files individually for downloads over 3 gb.

My desktop PC is always actively supervised when I am using it and the closest it gets to any form of 'sleep' is a screensaver - and even THAT is disabled when I've tried to use mega - but it seems that nothing helps.

As said earlier - this does not seem to be anything local to my PC; there are just some file sharing sites which do not work in different places.
By way of comparison, I just got a file from Mediafire of ~2GB with zero trouble at all, nice and fast as well.

If that same was tried from mega, after maybe 3 partial tries with consistent failures I would just give up since seeing that its hopeless and !!!
