I did not have SeNuke on my machine before I installed your version.

I unpacked all the files into a directory.

I ran the SENukeUpdater.application.

This ran the updater and created the C:\Users\MYUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\SENukeX directory with 2 shortcuts:
Update or Uninstall SENukeX online support
Update or Uninstall SENukeX

It also created an empty C:\Users\MYUSERNAME\AppData\Local\SENukeX with no files in it.
So there was no SeNuke.exe or DLL files to overwrite.

I ran Update or Uninstall SENukeX again from C:\Users\MYUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\SENukeX directory which downloaded files to the C:\Users\MYUSERNAME\AppData\Local\SENukeX directory.

I followed your installation instructions and overwrote the EXE and DLL files.

But when I ran the exe and tried an email of test@test.com and password test, I got the following exception error message:

I got exactly the same message when I tried it with no username and no password.

Any ideas my friend?

sorry.

I posted rather than PM because there seems to be at least one other poster having the same or similar problem.

I uninstalled that version by right click and selecting UNINSTALL.

Interesting to note that it DID NOT UNINSTALL ANY of the files in C:\Users\MYUSERNAME\AppData\Local\SENukeX at all.

I manually deleted C:\Users\MYUSERNAME\AppData\Local\SENukeX.

I ran the updater and let it finish, and then let it time down to 0 an reload and in does another update.

I overwrote the EXE and DLL as per instructions.

I still get exactly the same error message.

PLEASE NOTE: When I go into Windows Programs and Features, the program does not show as SENuke. It shows as Update or Uninstall SENukeX. It says the installed version was 3.0.0.56 installed today 2016/04/13 (I am GMT+0700).

So the updater says it is downloading 3.3.14.0 and hovering the mouse over the original EXE says it was 3.3.14.0 but in Programs it says it is 3.0.0.56 and does not have the program name SENukeXCR

Hello Smumar,

I tried downloading your 64 bit Portable version and extracted it into the empty C:\Users\MYUSERNAME\AppData\Local\SENukeX directory.

When I ran it, it asked for registration details but were already pre-populated with your information. I clicked on VERIFY to see what would happen. After a short period of time I got a popup message saying the SENuke was not authorized - so I clicked the OK button and it opened into SENuke.

Once I left it running for about 1 hour the Unauthorized message popped up again, but after clicking OK again, it said there was a corrupt file and it was reloading. It then loaded SENuke after that.

But it just seems strange that the 32 bit version does not want to install at all. My system is 64 bit but 32 bit should install.
