Scene writing – the actual “sitting down and writing your book” – is probably one of the most difficult things to do.

These are the final words your reader will read, and for those words to pull your reader in, you need to do certain things to make sure your scenes make sense.

More than make sense – draw the reader in and keep them reading. This is not an easy task…unless you have a system.

Writing Great Scenes Are Like Plotting – A Simple System, Template, and Technique Can Produce Endless Ones Quickly

If you know what you’re doing, then this isn’t complicated. It’s actually quite easy.

Over the past several years I’ve developed my best kept writing secret – BBXML Scene Writing Method. (I’ll get to this in a minute)

This scene writing technique enables me to quickly map out and write scenes. I follow a basic pattern, including three important aspects (out of a possible 6) in each scene.

Following this pattern enables to quickly produce scenes and chapters.

In fact, I can write a 2000 to 4000-word scene in about 2 hours or less, without thinking, without slowing down.
