Thanks for the share!

The one thing I will take away from this report is the way he handles the content on his website. Instead of using a 20 page silo website with a keyword targeted article on 20 different pages, he writes one long 2,000 word article that includes all the related keywords in one place.

I also found it interesting that he doesn't use Wordpress on his money site. He creates a clean and simple html site using a WYSIWYG editor.

Hi jaimes,
you think that to write 1 page-2000 words with 20 keywords IS BETTER (from the point of view of SEO) than 20 pages-800 words targeted 1 keyword each?
How BigG will determine what is your sub-niche?
What will be the SILO structure then?

Regards

"he writes one long 2,000 word article"

Unless you happen to be another Keats, Browning, Shelly or Shakespeare I can't imagine too many people reading a 2,000 word article to get to a few keywords - even if they'd had the chance to write it, one glance would be all it got. People today want "self serve" information, picture, videos, cartoon, infograms anything where they don't have to read. Information that is only presented to you after you've watched money making commercials which gobble up your bandwidth.

Excellent share! Thank you grim!

Does anyone know if there was an OTO with this offer? It doesn't look like it but never hurts to ask.

Interesting report. I have to agree with his decision to use plain HTML over WP. If the site isn't going to updated frequently, it is much better to use clean HTML and not have to bother with all those WP updates.

I am going to test using a single 2,000 word article, but I have had good results using a couple - like 3 to 4 - 800 word articles and it definitely has to be unique content.

RE:
I'd imagine you'd want to break that 2,000 word article up into readable sections with section labels, you know, headlines that describe the section. That makes it unnecessary to read the entire article to get to the point of the article, or at least makes it easier for the common person. Google has repeatedly indicated that they want the information to be clearly obtainable for the viewer, with information such as images and video, if possible.

It's all about the viewer experience. Google is getting smarter.
