Accounts Receivable component is part of SAP FICO module and is responsible for recording and controlling all customers accounting data. It is an essential part of sales management. All postings in SAP Accounts Receivable are directly recorded in the General Ledger and different G/L accounts are updated based on transactions such as receivables, down payments, bills of exchange, etc. SAP Accounts Receivable contain a range of tools that are used to monitor things such as account analyses, alarm reports, due date lists and dunning programs.
