(01-04-2018 09:06 PM)Johny321 Wrote: branden mace is a scam, run, already product 6% refund rate If never steered any BBHF member wrong. You think I'd recommend this so highly just to support Mace? Or just waste my time for fun? You never took the time to even view this course did you? Yet, you supply an irresolute brain fart to us all. Raiken used Mace's commercial success to get this out there. This product is specifically tailored for a small market segment. Only place you see Mace is in the promotion. This course lays out how to get started with eBay properly. Getting and staying organized - this is sorely lacking in many other eBay courses. Spends considerable time teaching you how to spot what sells and analyze consumer demand. Raiken takes this trade serious and presents it in such a manner. Talks in depth about sourcing - important for you to have the best quality, at the lowest price. He goes on to discuss developing a discerning eye for the merchandise - this gives you leverage in negotiating purchase prices, getting bulk deals. It's used clothing people! Learn to negotiate. Presenting and listing your merchandise in the most favorable light. Develop the all important relationships with your customers and product source store owners, then how to properly package and ship, how to handle expanding your business. Start with eBay. Then I suggest having your own website or ecom platform and concurrently run the same product merchandise. Take time with this. You'll know when to begin doing this. In league, have a FB group and page along with Instagram. Overtime, you'll get to a point where you have a large targeted list of repeat business. You could have 1 website as a general display of your merchandise and then branch out. Maybe have another store or site targeting belts, shoes, socks and ties. Another for all things suits. These are only my off-the-cuff ideas. Get as focused as you desire but remain business savvy and practical. Build on your success by reinvesting in your business and live on a shoestring budget for the first year. Build The Biz! Finally think of how much freedom and fun you can have being in control of your work. Imagine it's Summertime but you come across some Winter apparel and you know it's golden merchandise. Get It! Clean and store it properly and begin working on a Fall - Winter campaign. Keep an eye out for used fashion display products i.e. used mannequin parts, go to a craft store and get some varying colored drapes or cloth for backgrounds, good looking hangers. Get creative. Decent smartphone takes HD pics and vids. I just know that some BBHF members have this vision and personality. That love working with physical products and care about their customers. I always try and motivate members without spoon feeding. Only way you'll learn and it's for the best. Watch the course while taking notes not only of what you learn but of the visions you get. Thinking of the possibilities. |

Thanks,,, Max reps to you for the info. Happy to be of service. +Reps back 2 U. I don't have a lot of time now to go into much detail but here's a little more because I discussed this with my brother the other day. - Target markets. When starting this eBay Raiken course journey think about demographic gender and then age groups. This course focuses on men - Ok, no problem because the basic skills on sourcing merchandise follow suit. But let's say we go with men's clothes. A group of men age 40-50 living in Southern California will have different tastes to the same age group living in the panhandle of Florida. Yes? Good, because I agree. So what do you do? Start at ground zero, your back yard, because you'll begin your sourcing of merchandise there. Now don't fret and worry because overtime you'll realize the leverage you have. WORD OF WARNING. DO NOT BECOME FRIENDS WITH STORE OWNERS OR THEIR WORKERS. Big Mistake and it'll spoil the working relationship. THIS IS BUSINESS. PERIOD. Always approach this in a win-win biz mind set. Convey your desire to pay cash up front for bulk purchases AND ask what their source locations are. The regional locations. Maybe you live in Atlanta Georgia and the thrift store owner has contacts in Orlando Florida, Boston New Hampshire, Philadelphia Pennsylvania and Charleston South Carolina. ALL EXAMPLES. But in this example you see that the sourcing occurs along the Eastern portion of the USA. That gives you a large regional marketing area. Remember this involves shipping of the products. So if someone in say Idaho wants to buy your men's "Memphis Lambskin Leather Bomber Jacket" that's great news. You could be running an incentives campaign for product deliveries outside of say 500 miles. Maybe it goes like - "We ship 1,500 miles for the price of 500." Just an example but it gives you so much room to experiment. You want loyal, repeat customers. They buy that jacket and you include a heavy bonded, laminated single instructional sheet on caring for the product. Find it online and print it out. THAT"S THOUGHTFUL AND APPRECIATED. Now the big score will be to find the actual locations the thrift store owner uses and source them yourself. Don't rush this. Business savvy ok? Work your regional area first and learn all your can from the thrift store owners. Now when you go to garage sales and such you can pick their brains a little more because it's a one off association. Learn to scour the internet back nine for sources because they won't advertise as other commercial sources do. Back nine refers to g00gle search pages beyond 10! Go 10-15 deep and start working backwards. Back to the demographics. Men age 40-50 and you include men 30-40 and finally 30 and under for this example. Now create sub demographic niches for each. You won't know about what you can sell until you go and begin sourcing merchandise. So be flexible with this and adapt. Remove your own emotional fashion tastes and get moving. Say you have suits. Go online and learn the different types. Raiken's course helps also. So I suggest you go and browse the different thrift stores in your area. Begin to learn and have fun growing in knowledge. But you can have full suits, sports jackets, slacks and then accessories of belts, ties, socks. I'd be extra careful with shoes though. Feet get real personal and depending how the previous owner walks will dictate the wear of that shoes soles and such. So you got that covered... Now- Look at all the variety of used t-shirts and casual wear. Overtime you can have nice collections. Music related shirts, movies and TV shirts, athletic/sporting, all that stuff. The course will stimulate your thinking on this. If you're serious then you'll watch his course more than once when getting started. When it comes to your displaying the merchandise you can get real creative on a budget. Think about some racks, slatwall, used mannequins, hangers, background colored sheets or drapes. If you decide to include hand jewelry then go get a manicure and do it yourself. hahaha... just watch this course and it'll stimulate your brain juices. Something else. Stay organized with ALL YOUR RECEIPTS. ALL OF THEM. Invest some time and money talking to a living accountant. Don't try and get clever here! This will help you so much in the long run. Take time to consult different ones. Find a good fit that understands what you're doing, that can relate. This can turn out to be a rewarding and fun journey. Once you discover your own "secret" clothing sources you'll have small trucks or vans deliver to you. |
