[GET] Quick and Easy Kindle Formatting Blueprint
I've just downloaded nice video course (315 MB!, 720p screencasts) for creating Kindle ebooks with Calibre.

Skype coaching offer (presented in video) with buy button aka OTO on top of page and then download links below video: Code: http://tech-videos.org/wso-quick-and-easy-kindle-formatting-blueprint/Oh yeah, quick review: Author starts with basic formatting of ebook in MS Word (because of styling with headings, page breaks and overall ebook structure - first video) then installs Calibre (second video). He saves ebook as HTML (filtered, in Word) and imports it in Calibre, edits ebook's metadata and then adds TOC - so not in Word - based on headings (third video). Fourth video shows how to locate your ebook ;) and how to preview it in Kindle Previewer. Finally process of uploading ebook to KDP is shown on longest fifth video. Here author IMHO is wrong regarding automatic prices for different Amazon markets (several IMers have shown it's better to set "nice" prices for each of them though sometimes unusual prices like 4.62 can attract some eyes). Overall - simple, no "blank Google screen" :D and quick to grasp. Maybe basic for Kindle ebook writers but good for beginners. No marketing explained and no other formatting e.g. with "Authors Central" but there are other courses for that (see above). |
