Sorry to hear that, solar33. I hope someone else, who manages to get the crack file to work, will post the steps they took for everyone else. In the past, I have had issues trying to use a crack file. That is why I linked to an article that seems to simplify it in a non-traditional way; but as I said, I don't have plans to install this at the moment and don't have time to fiddle with it. So I hope you get it to work or someone else posts some guidance. If other people experience similar the same thing as you are, I will get the thread taken down.

For those of you without experience installing crack files, there is a lot of information online. Youtube videos, articles, posts. Do a search for "easy way to install a crack file for software" and follow the links.

@solar33: I just posted an UPGRADE for this date with a newer version of Prima Cartoonizer. It is version 4.4.6 and it, too, comes with a crack file. Try that and see if you get better results with that crack file than the previous version.

Ok, so the first crack did not work, I have just tried the newly updated crack, and this works a treat with software showing as registered

Here is the simplified process I used.

Step one: Use an uninstaller to remove any previous versions of Prima Cartoonizer (I used IOBIT Uninstaller Pro
Step two: Download the MediaFile of Prima Cartoonizer, supplied by Layna61524
Step three: Then unzip the download file
Step four: Install the program but do not run it
Step five: Copy the crack file into the installation folder
Step six: Restart your computer

GalaxyQuest2: Thank you for sharing the steps you took to utilize the crack file in installing the program. I am still a bit unfamiliar with using crack and patch files, so I copied your instructions to a text document. I'll file it away for future reference. It will be great having that for whenever I decide to install this (or another) program that comes with a crack file.

It seems like you used the second version of Prima Cartoonizer (4.4.6) so I will try to edit the OP and remove the earlier version with the non-working crack to cut down on confusion and disappointment. That way, only the working crack will be available.

I enjoy sharing files that help others and creating posts is almost as much fun as sharing the content. It's a labor of love, really.

I know my posts tend to be heavy on the details but when I share something, I do it for the people who need to be walked through the process, step-by-step. It's easy enough for anyone who doesn't need the details to skip over it.

And when I DON'T know the steps in a process, I always call for someone with experience to post it for the rest of us and, in this case, GalaxyQuest2 came through for me.
