We’re using Stripe via a platform like Paythen, Lemon Squeezy, or Paddle. These act as a middle layer. Basically:

They handle the Stripe account and compliance (so you don’t need your own Ltd company or address).

You just sign up, connect your bank, and you can start accepting payments almost instantly.

They take a small cut (like 3–5%) on top of Stripe’s fees, but it saves all the setup headaches.

They also handle invoices, taxes (like VAT), and even failed payment retries.

If you're not doing high volume yet, this is perfect to get up and running fast, then you can switch to your own Stripe later once the Ltd setup is sorted.
