Not familiar with Medium yet. Any idea if its traffic is sustainable like Pinterest?

About Medium.
Most of the reputable serious marketers and digital nomads etc use medium for traffic and branding.
The quality of article is really good if not high.

It's my favorite platform to find case studies and serious articles.

This is not your spam average platform to use.
If you want to be serious, use medium, if not, then go elsewhere with your low quality articles.

For me medium is a kind of linkedin... you will NOT survive long if you are out of the rules, so be serious about it.

Hi all
Because here are the reasons why not to use udemy:
-Udemy takes 50% of your money.
-Udemy doesn't have any funnels options.
-Udemy doesn't allow you to give 100% of the FE to your affiliates (like the guys did with their course).
-Udemy decide the pricing of your course when using promotions.
-Udemy keep the emails of your students.
-Udemy is like apple products, everybody say it's cool and use them because they think that's the best... but real marketers know that Apple is just marketing (personally I love Apple marketing, I hate their claims and products and I'm a computer guy since eighties, I visited some of their manufacturing in China and I know their drug-dealing like margins.).
To resume Udemy is a suicide...


-The only thing Udemy is good for is fast branding for beginners, you put a free course, you get hundreds of students, then you have a huge social proof...
Other than that... run Forrest run...
It's like groupon a legalized Mafia that kills businesses.


Sure people are making money with Udemy, but what they do not realize is that they are leaving 50%, even 90% of profits on the table.... that they could have used to get affiliates and way more sales.
If I asked you, will you give me 50% or 90% of your monthly income ?
It's very easy to calculate how much you make with a 10$ product on Udemy and w+, the difference is the same between a cat and a wale.

Yes it's about Medium and, yes, somewhere in there there are some useful tips. Maybe one or two and I'm not saying it wasn't useful to go through it all. It's just I wished I'd done it when I didn't have better things to do, like waiting for paint to dry.

I may be sounding just slightly disappointed - but this is like an enormous cotton candy confection that melts away when you sink your teeth into it. Not much there, but looks great.

Haven't viewed the OTOs yet - will report back on what I find once I've slapped some paint on the wall...
