Don't waste your time mailing from Go Daddy's shared hosting. You will need to extremely lucky to be allocated
an ip block that hasn't already been abused my mailers and inboxing will be non existent.
A better method would be to use Mandrillapp or Amazon SES although they can be a little complicated to set up
your DKIM and MX.
Mandrillapp also deliver your first 12000 emails a month free.

The main objective of this course is focus on: Prospect=Qualify=Pitch=Close

one thing that I found is hard to do in the offline business as most of the courses do not touch on is this: How to gain the client trust to hand you a check or send you a paypal money for your services since they do not know you? if anybody here knows this piece of information, I would be grateful to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

Thus comes the "face-to-face" approach. If you truly believe in your abilities and willing to go that extra mile for your client, they will keep giving you business. I personally stick with direct marketing/cold calling. I hate emails and imo it's a waste of time (again, this is my personal opinion.).

How do you approach a client and speak to them is more important in terms of "closing a deal". Don't get too caught up closing the deal/over selling and actually listen to the client. Please do yourself a fav, do some research about the client before walking into a business meeting. Learn about their field, learn about their business. If you are the expert, you ought to be the expert at what you do.

I can tell you whole sorta stories about sales too but it's all bs in your ear. These guys talk way too much about how important they are to a point they forget that the product should actually help the buyer. So if Mario or whatever reading this (he probably is trolling us), do us a fav and shut the hell up and focus more on adding value to your wso buyers instead of just running your mouth on how many so called "millions" you made.

Well you know the saying, teach a man to fish...

1. Harvest some #s, and start dialing.
2. Think about what are you going to do to spread the word about your business (Product, service, whatever).
3. outsource any work you have, then dial some more.

A true entrepreneur gets the business first then worry about doing a bang up job. Just remember, We are living in a information rich era.

Drops the mic, walks away. LOL
You don't always need to sell. One can simply contribute to this great community by adding valuable/insightful posts.

RE:
I will just throw this out and see if it sticks. Alot of you are concerned about emails and the number you sent. Granted if you were marketing "OUTSIDE" of you r city/state I could see were this would be handy and come into play. Now as for local/city/state email/leads why would you go this route? One major question is what is your follow up? you send all those emails at once....how are you gonna track it? Now granted you can find (as part of your follow-up process) the script (ACT) here on this forum that could in fact handle a 2nd part of the process (well really a lot more) you get to VB and all type of stuff. If you don't have a solid follow-up I would suggest looking for the WSO Local Lead Ignition. The PDF's alone (the 1st one) will lay out at least a plan...modify it do what ever but at least start with that and worry about this and other BIG things later.
