Here is my take on it!

To make this work you need to create a video where you go through your prospect's website and analyze it, giving recommendation on what he needs to improve! (HINT: he needs to improve everything you're selling :) ..)

Why i see problems with this WSO: 99% of the 99% of action takes wont make a video of how they analyze the website and review it! it is too, let's say, complicated and requires certain knowledge and confidence! Plus you're making this without even being sure you got the client!

If there was another way to hook the client, i guess that would have been a different WSO!

VERDICT: 100% NOT FOR NEWBIES - regardless of what the sales page says! Even more advanced members will have issues with doing that! unless you can hire a person on fiverr but that is gonna cost you a lot!

Goal: Sell Web Design and/or SEO via LinkedIn

Method steps:
-connect to groups of your target niche on Linkedn
-look for business owners in your target niche
-check if they have their website in the profile
-short check on website (it has to have some potential for improvement -perfect sites are no potential clients)
-->message potential clients and offer a video review (audit) of their web site (with script provided)
-wait for answers
-provide reviews with SnagIt trial (cheaper cousin of camtasia from the same company)
-soft pitch your services at end of video
-upload video to youtube (set to private)
-send biz owner the YT link
-wait for orders!

Critique:
-Method is valid and should work
-the free review positions you as an expert and should sell your services to marketing-aware biz owners
->nearly all LinkedIn members are marketing-aware!

Possible Variations:
Search for the audit template provided by squeezemobi (should be here on the forum)
-->sell mobile, SEO, RepManagement, Social etc...

The vids are taken with screen-cam software, so you won't be visible on them.

I agree with you that this is not for total newbies. You have to know at least what your service will be, how to deliver it and how to find potential clients who would NEED your service.

The web desgn example is really easy - if you know what a website for business owners of a certain niche should do for the business and how this will be accomplished through proper web design.
